The Pearl offers a variety of complimentary bicycles for exploring town or biking the scenic, 18.6-mile 30A bike trail through South Walton’s coastal dune lakes and villages.

Besides our destination hotel pool at The Pearl for adults ages 18 and older (open year-round from 7 AM - 10 PM), there are four fantastic pools located throughout community: the Coquina Pool, Sky Pool, Cabana Pool and Barbados Pool (guest access is available through the Rosemary Beach Community Access Key provided upon check-in; failure to return the key to the Front Desk upon departure will result in a fee).

Vacation is no reason to skimp on your workout routine.  Hotel guests looking to stay active during their stay have access to the following facilities: 

  • Rosemary Beach Fitness Center for an additonal fee of $25/day.  Located just west of they Sky Pool at 9 East Water Street, Rosemary Beach, FL 32461, the center includes Bodymasters and Freemotion Stength Training dquipment, as well as LIFE FITNESS treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, Stairmaster Steppers, and Cybex Arc Trainers, and also features an expanded weight room and a studio for Yoga classes and more. To scheduled a training session or private yoga, call (850) 278-2200.  
  • The state-of-the-art Fitness Center at WaterSound Origins (530 Pathways Drive, Inlet Beach, FL 32461), offers the latest Technogym and Precor equipment with personal televisions and hook-ups for earphones. For those who prefer the great outdoors to a treadmill, there is a nearby walking and jogging trail that is a 2.3-mile loop consisting of sand footpaths, wooden boardwalks and four exercise stations with stretching and strength training equipment.

The WaterColor BoatHouse, managed by The BoatHouse Paddle Club, offers several ways to explore the natural wildlife that inhabits our area on Western Lake, one of several coastal dune lakes in this area. The BoatHouse is open daily from 9 AM - 4 PM (seasonal hours apply) and is located directly on the banks of Western Lake (250 Watercolor Blvd. S, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459).  The Pearl Hotel guests have access to kayaks (one-hour complimentary rental(s) each day; based on availability and are not required to be reserved in advance.

 

The BoatHouse also offers stand up paddleboarding (SUP), an easy-to-learn, low impact activity suitable for anyone from children to seniors wanting to to explore the natural beauty of WaterColor from a unique vantage point.  SUP rentals are available for a discounted fee for hotel guests.  

 

Be sure to check out a variety of classes being offered, including including Bootcamps, TRX Suspension, Girls Sweat, and more, as well as weekly nature kayak tours and rentals, and training classes for eFoil surfboards that guests can sign up for (additional fees apply).

Hotel guests have access to Tennis through the Rosemary Beach Racquet Club (235 East Water Street, Rosemary Beach, FL 32461).  On-site, you'll find eight clay courts well-maintained (four of them illuminated for evening play), restrooms and shower facilities, along with a viewing deck to observe matches and tennis programs.  Open to the public; court fees applies.  Contact tennis@rosemarybeach.com or call (850) 278-2061 for court availability and more information.

Hotel guests have acccess to Origins Golf Club (573 Pathways Drive, Watersound, FL 32413), a six-hole regulation course that alternatively plays as a ten-hole par 3 layout through the use of alternate tee boxes and auxiliary greens. Inspired by the Scottish origins of golf, where shorter courses were common and designed by Davis Love, III, this course caters to beginners while still providing challenges for experienced players on regulation-length holes and greens- making golf more enjoyable and accessible to all. For tee times, call (850) 213-5090.

 

This course also offers FootGolf- a combination of golf and soccer that is available from 3 - 6 PM and is open to all ages and skill levels (Children 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult).

The Pearl's central, walkable location in the charming coastal community of South Walton provides ample opportunities for boutique browsing and window-shopping. With an array of distinct, independent shops to explore along the Town Center, you’ll find books and beach gear, unique gifts and toys, and fashion and jewelry – all under the South Walton sun and just footsteps away from the hotel.
